The voices got too loud.

I let my English Professor inflate my ego, and now I'm here, just someone on the internet with too many thoughts. It's a daily battle between the screaming in my head and the neverending agony of the world's white noise; sometimes, writing is the only way to avoid coping. Thoughts exist in many different mediums, meaning some articles will be the semi-qualified babblings of a fool, and others will be much more researched and in-depth takes.

I am finishing my associate's in English, which I have very proudly kept a 4.0 through, thank you very much, and will soon be working on my bachelor's. I have two dogs named Bizziness (Bizzie) and Renaizzance (Rainie) and a fish named Regulus; little monsters I would die for. My mom and I are borderline co-dependent close, but she's cooler than everyone else, so it's a win.

Now, if you'll allow me a moment to sound seriously cliche, I truly believe the pen is mightier than the sword. Words are the most powerful and influential thing we have, and they're just given to all of us. I try to never take that for granted. If you're wanting to share your words with someone who will appreciate them, send them over! I'd simply adore reading what you've worked on. And stay tuned if you're so inclined. I'm working on a book that I may one day get around to publishing, and wouldn't it be cool to say, "Yeah, I actually used to read her blog posts."
